About Dr. Posner
I actively and empathically support each person, as we explore your experience of yourself and your relationships with others. By gaining more understanding of past and present influences on your life, new choices become available, bringing insight and increasingly rewarding approaches to your life.
My psychotherapeutic approach is mainly interpersonal and psychodynamic. I help my patients look at their interactions with the people in their lives, and how those patterns might work for and against their happiness. I bring an advanced level of training and experience. This includes advanced training beyond the qualifications to be a psychologist, having obtained a certificate in psychoanalysis. I value creativity and individual expression, and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
As to what therapy would look like for you, that is something we would develop together to address your personal goals. While a weekly session is very productive, many people prefer to meet more frequently for more intensive work.
